With the forecast here in Ithaca looking less than ideal for the weekend, I've got craft projects on the mind and this one seems perfect! Not too difficult and not too involved. A "dopp kit" is just an old fashioned term for a toiletry bag and just because I have no plans (or money) to go on another trip any time soon (is it bad that I already want to go away again?), doesn't mean that a girl can't prepare.

I love the Purl Bee! I made my quilt from their instructions and I make the toadstool rattle for all my new little "nieces and nephews." Alas, I haven't even taken out my sewing machine since we moved to Eugene! For shame.
